Marketing and Communications helps position Strada to transform the education and workforce ecosystem by amplifying our work and articulating our purpose with our key audiences.
We want to be known for delivering impactful, engaging work and will do that by collaborating across our network with a strategy-first mindset, and by being creative and transparent.
Our shared services:
Coordinate conference sponsorships: The Marketing and Communications team helps to coordinate conference participation when more than one affiliate or Strada sponsors or participates. Coordination includes speaker recruitment, presentation/talking points support, marketing materials, and activation. Strada will provide a list of the conferences that Strada will orchestrate by the end of Q1 2020, annually. NOTE: This service is only focused on coordination, and not on providing funding for, or sponsorship of conferences, meetings, and forums. Contact: Katie Mitchell.
Maintain corporate calendar: Strada maintains a centralized marketing and communications calendar, enabling visibility and coordination of efforts across the network. To add the master calendar to your personal Google-based account, please go here and download the instructions. Contact: Kylee Fuller.
Provide access to media monitoring: Strada will provide access to a media monitoring, search, and distribution service (Meltwater) to all nonprofit affiliates to track and share media coverage of network activities. Strada funds access for one user per affiliate and up to four searches per affiliate. Contact: Amy Dunham.
Assist with creative services vendor selection: The Marketing and Communications team will assist affiliates in identifying and coordinating with communications and creative vendors (video, graphics, A/V, web design, podcast, event presentation, etc.) to increase efficiency and provide additional expertise to affiliate efforts. Contact: Jason Johnson.
Develop crisis communications protocols: Strada will develop a crisis communications protocol to respond to reputational and operational threats resulting from internal and external actions. Contact: Amy Dunham or Chantee Eldridge.
Provide strategic communications consulting services: The Marketing and Communications team will provide affiliates with communications, media training, and brand strategy consultative services, including and up to documented strategies. Marketing and Communications will not execute or fund affiliate strategies or plans. Contact: Lora Louise Broady or Chantee Eldridge.
